My how things have changed...

Chloe and I took a trip up to Rexburg to visit my old roommate, Jodie, who is now living there. I haven't been there since April of 2004. Man, they have a lot of good stuff now like, Cold Stone, Quiznos, a big movie theater, a temple, etc. And the housing is out of control. They are building new housing everywhere! And I noticed that my old apartment complex, Birch Plaza, has changed their look a little now in order to compete with the new stuff. It was fun being there with Chloe, knowing I didn't have to stay there and live with roommates again. I went to Walmart to get a couple things and saw a group of girls (obviously roommates) doing their grocery shopping. They had one big basket and piled everything in it. I'm glad I'm passed all that. Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate college life, but I love my life now so much better! I also had to make a stop in Jamba Juice and get my favorite Strawberries Wild. I must have walked down to Jamba about 100 times while I lived there. Anyway, I'm glad I got to go and see how it's all changed.

A trip to the zoo

She loved feeding the goats!

Is she picking the donkey's nose??? Talk about up-close and personal.

We went to the Idaho Falls zoo and had a great time. Chloe rode in a wagon for the first time, and she loved it. We got her out for the little petting zoo, and I think this was her favorite part.

Our trip to Idaho Falls

She also had fun teasing the cats through the front door window.

Chloe and I are on a trip to Idaho Falls to visit my cousin, Melissa. Thankfully my mom came along to help with my perfect little angel on the plane trips and the car ride from Salt Lake up to IF. Turns out Chloe wasn't horrible on the 2 planes to SL, but it was nice to have someone else to help entertain her. We are having a great time, and Chloe is having a blast playing with her cousins and their fun toys.

Chloe's 1st Haircut

Chloe got her first haircut last week. Her hair is VERY long on top since she never lost any of it after she was born, and I love to put it up in little ponytails. I would love it even more if she wouldn't pull them out 5 minutes later. So, because she won't leave it up it's always down in her eyes. We finally decided to cut it, and now she has cute little bangs. I no longer have a little baby. She looks like a big girl now.

Chloe's 1st vacation at the beach

Of course finding a stick was the most exciting part.

She had fun helping Daddy make a fish in the sand.

We went to Houston to visit our friends over Labor Day. We like to go on mini vacations here, because we also get to visit with Aunt Debbie. This was Chloe's 1st time to go to the beach...if you can call the Gulf of Mexico 'the beach'.

Lunch Downtown with Maddie

Don't you just love Maddie's face in this picture!
We went downtown to have lunch with Michael, and Chloe and Maddie had a great time.
